The 2022 Ford F-150 Lariat Gets a Turbo Diesel Version

With rising fuel prices, Ford Released a premium Turbo Diesel Truck sold for Php 3.398M.

Ford Philippines officially released the 14th generation F-150 Lariat. The new model will be offered with a turbo diesel variant --a first in the country.

Ford upgraded the F-150 with a redesigned LED headlights and C-shaped LED daytime running lights. The F-150 was also given a bigger front grille that aesthetically runs its lines to the trucks entire front part, accented by its new wraparound bumpers and a new power dome hood.

The angular lines continue to the middle part, all the way back to the rear side of the truck, creating a modern boxy-look. Meanwhile, the truck’s all-terrain pair of tires are housed in its massive fenders, which made the car’s rugged features more prominent.

What makes the truck special is its 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6 called the Powerstroke, which reportedly makes 250 PS with 597 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a ten-speed automatic gearbox and a 4WD system.

The truck’s bed is loaded with other features and can also be used as a workbench. The bed is also equipped with a rear-step and brackets to help with working tools.

Technology is not limited to aesthetics though. The new model is equipped with anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, traction control, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, and roll stability control. These features help provide a stable ride and also work as the truck’s safety features.

Additional safety features include the Ford Co-Pilot 360 2.0. This system provides pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, active drive assist, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function, automatic high beam, automatic parking assist, and blind-spot information with rear-cross traffic alert.

The 2022 Ford F-150 Lariat trim is retailed at PHP 3,398,000. For more information, please visit: https://www.ford.com.ph/trucks/f150/
